Brian qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and worked in private practice specialising in Family Law including Public Law and high value Ancillary Relief.

For more than 20 years Brian has specialised in Care Proceedings, including as an in house advocate for a number of local authorities.

​

Brian transferred to the Bar in late 2019 and joined chambers in early 2020.
